Not too long ago a UN-based reporter, in all earnestness, urged me to investigate the climate change contribution of warfare, specifically Israel's bombardment of Gaza. I suggested that attention is perhaps better spent focused on the death and destruction caused and not on the greenhouse gas emissions of mortar shells. Great post Richard. I got that invite too.
