So Europe will do what any good Cap&Trade nation will do, slap carbon tariffs on US goods. This is exactly what Cap&Trade is designed for, trade tarifs. So this so called souring of relations across the Atlantic is just the start, eventually a true global trade war will erupt and eventually the US will be forced to adopt Cap&Trade whether they want it or not (once the Americans are on their knees). The true colors of Cap&Trade will come out. It's not about saving the planet, it never has been; cap&Trade is about trade tariffs.
