In the US, it’s only 8.30 in the morning on the east coast, but Ron Paul has already raised nearly $800k.

Over at Foreign Policy, Mike Boyer says enough is enough. We posted on Paul’s insurgency campaign in August.
Update – Topped a million dollars around 9.30… and that’s two million shortly after 2 pm… So they made it to around $4m by the end of the day.

The National Review’s blog has this glorious tale of inter-agency cooperation as practised by the legendary USAF General, Curtis LeMay:
He was being briefed about a war plan of some sort and an air intelligence officer was giving him the lowdown on the Soviets, saying “the enemy” would do this and “the enemy” would do that.
Halfway through the briefing, LeMay held up his hand and stopped the briefer, took his omnipresent cigar out of his mouth, and said, “Let’s get one thing straight: The Soviets are our adversary. Our enemy is the Navy. Proceed.”
